So am back to the basic Realtek Driver, which works. Got message "Not supported on this machine". No sound from desktop speakers.Ģ) Uninstalled Sonic Studio, leaving the ASUS Driver and Console.ģ) Trying to play music via Foobar produces a message "Unknown problem".Ĥ) Uninstalled the ASUS Driver, leaving the Console.ĥ) Installed the Driver from the Realtek site.ħ) Invoked the Console. I have tried every variation on that theme and cannot achieve a working combination of Realtek Console and Driver.ġ) Downloaded latest Asus driver package which installed the Driver, Realtek Console and Sonic Studio (no Sonic Radar for unknown reason).
